The 2025 Home Rule Music Festival will feature an exciting range of events celebrating Black music, culture, and community. Kicking off with Rooted in Rhythm: A Youth Showcase, the festival will highlight the next generation of D.C.'s rising stars in music and performance. Throughout the weekend, attendees can experience electrifying performances from legendary artists like Plunky & Oneness of JuJu, New Impressionz, and Backyard Band, all while immersing themselves in the vibrant sounds that define Washington, D.C. music.
From lively record fairs to engaging community experiences, the festival will offer something for everyone. Additional events will include interactive workshops, DJ sets, and a dedicated Kids Village, ensuring a family-friendly atmosphere.
